Erika Thompson

Soprano and Alto Saxophones

Erika is a West Liberty State College graduate in Music and Business. She is currently the Band and Orchestra Specialist at C. A. House Music in St. Clairsville, Ohio.  She has studied with Mike Clancy of Pittsburgh, Dr. Nels Leonard of West Liberty State College, and Patricia Olsson of Kent State University.

Erika uses a Yamaha Custom Soprano Sax, and a Selmer Paris Serie II Alto Sax.  Her preferred choice of reeds are Vandoren.  She uses many different mouthpieces including Rascher, Selmer, and Dukoff.
